Scout House was founded by Jodi Walker, a New Zealand entrepreneur and business operator with over a decade of experience building, scaling and successfully exiting product-based and service businesses.
Having launched and grown multiple consumer brands and operational companies across retail, manufacturing, and education, Jodi understands firsthand the realities founders face, from sourcing reliable suppliers and navigating overseas production, to cashflow, quality control, brand positioning and go-to-market strategy.

Kevin Chen is a sourcing and operations specialist with deep experience across manufacturing, supplier negotiation and international trade between China and New Zealand, supported by a uniquely diverse business and professional background.

Fluent in both English and Mandarin, before entering global sourcing and trade, Kevin served as a police officer, building strong foundations in discipline, risk management, compliance and operational leadership.

He has since gone on to own and operate multiple businesses,
including hospitality venues, education facilities, and a traffic management company, giving him real-world insight into business operations, staffing, regulatory environments and
commercial scalability.

Kevin holds a formal fashion degree, bringing technical understanding of garment construction, textiles, production standards and quality control, a valuable asset for apparel, accessories and consumer product brands working with Scout House.

Stacey Yu brings category expertise and market insight to Scout House, with a strong focus on beauty, health, fitness and wellness product sourcing.
